The State government has given an approval to trust to start
the Adiwasi Ashram School at Pimple Bk, Tal Amalner , Dist. Jalgaon. It’s at a
distance of 4 Km from the Amalner city towards Dhule- Amalner Road. To start
the Ashram school trust has taken a 4 acre land on lease for 30 years. On the
said land trust has carried out around 25000 Sq.Ft construction of the school
which includes 24 class rooms, separate hostel for girls and boys, water tank.
There is a separate hall of mess and store room. There are also separate rooms
for Science Lab, Digital Classroom, Staff room and Office. School also has
separate Fitness Centre approved by the sports ministry of State of Maharashtra
along with huge Playground. The students and staff has managed to plant and
survive around 300 trees. Special care is being taken for the health of
students where there is a separate dispensary at the school and doctors from
Mumbai visit the school on regular intervals.
On the establishment year 1998 we started first division of
Ashram school which has now grown upto 24 divisions , 2 classes each from
standard 1st to 12th . there are around 900 students in
the school which includes 225 girls. The students are from Jalgaon , Dhule,
Nandurbar and also from tribal areas of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh border. With
the 900 students we have around 50 members staff who looks after the day to day
affairs of the school. All students and staff resides at the school for 24
hours, throughout the year. Being a
residential school everything from Morning and afternoon breakfast ,lunch and
dinner is arranged at the school.
The Ashram school is located at drought affected area and
there is a severe scarcity of water throughout the year. Currently the water is
being arranged from 2 kms by way of pipeline but as the water level in the area
is going down, the water is being supplied by water tanker since last 2 years.
Despite so many hurdles the students have managed to perform
well in the following areas.
1) 9 out of the last 13 years the school has managed over 90% pass out percentage in 10th standard and 9 out of the last 10 years the result for 12th is more than 90%. The performance of some of the students in the year 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 is as follows.
